Crew Breakfast run to Franschoek Motor Museum

The day has finally come for us to go on a crew breakfast run. What better way to do it was going to the Franschoek Motor Museum. Now our breakfast run was not only enjoyable, but we had a experience and a half which I will share later on. Be sure to go through all the photos as we took some photos afterwards of the crew cars between the nice scenery.

The few of us that decided to go on the breakfast run met up at Zevenwacht Mall in Kuilsrivier to set of on our Journey to Franschoek. Below you'll see some rollers of the few guys that went through.

Well just after we took the rollers, almost at the Museum(or so we thought), a Taxi pulled over to the yellow line to pick up some clients, we all past and all of the sudden we see Sev and his green civic pull of with sparks exiting the rear. The rest of the group was infront driving on and immediately stopped to turn around. Luckily me, Kyle, Maurice was behind Sev. When we came to stop Sev told us while he was overtaking the Taxi, the bottom of his car hit something. When we looked it was a cat eye. What happened was his header point that went into the exhaust came loose when he hit the cat eye. Emile luckily managed to get the exhaust back into the header along with all the crew help jacking the car up and sorting Sev out on the spot. See below.

We drove in further to Franschoek and found out we passed the museum. We then went back and what do you know, the Museum was infront of where Sev knocked the cat eye out. How ironic don't you think? We didn't pay attention to the small boards when we were busy with Sev's car. After all the fuss we went in and started the tour and this is how it went.

And here we just decided afterwards to take some nice pics between the scenery.
